Whether you're a rock climber, art lover, historian, or architecture buff, Little Falls can keep you happily occupied for days. And because we are centrally located in the Mohawk River Valley, we are also a great jumping off place for day trips to the Adirondacks, the Capital District, Cooperstown, Syracuse, Utica, and more, all of which can be reached by driving about an hour or less.

18th Century Autumn Celebration

12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Herkimer Homestead

18th century autumn activities such as cider pressing, apple butter making, barrel meat smoking, and craft demonstrations including pewter casting, candle dipping and woodworking. Free pumpkins for the kids as long as supply lasts. Horse drawn wagon rides and artillery beef stew or ham and pea soup, both cooked over an open fire. 12 - 5 PM
