  • Enjoy the challenging 9-hole Henry Pelzer Municipal Golf Course. Great views of the valley and a relaxing club house.
  • Head over to Veteran's park and shoot some hoops or play a few games of tennis.
  • Catch a game, chow down on wings and pitchers of beer, and play some pool at the Happen-Inn.


  • Wanna know where the locals eat? Try the Copper Moose.
  • Enjoy another morning on the greens at the Mohawk Valley Country Club. Relax afterwards at the club for lunch.
  • During June and July the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs, a Northeast Collegiate Baseball team, play at beautiful Veterans' Park ball field. This league uses wooden bats, and college players from all over the country come to hone their skills and hope to be noticed by pro scouts.
  • Enjoy old-fashioned hot dogs and burgers at Kenicke's.
  • Have fun with an evening of bowling at George View Lanes.


  • Get up early and drop in a line under the Wind Bridge.
  • Fill up and tell your tall tales over a big omelet and hot coffee at Ann Street Deli.
  • Walk, ride bikes, hike the potholes, or simply kick back and watch the rock climbers at Moss Island.
  • Rent a kayak or canoe at Rotary Park and find some new fishing holes along the canal.
  • Grab an early dinner and watch the games at the bar at the Happen Inn.
  • Finish your day with darts and a pint at Renaissance.
